Lecksie made her debut
in the AKC Conformation ring in late 2004, taking a major and points
from the 6 to 9 month puppy class. She was sidelined throughout much
of the 6 to 12 month period by a bug that she came home with from a
cluster. We started showing her again at 14 months. She finished her AKC championship, with style
in three weekends, at the tender
age of 14 months, by going Opposite Sex over specials from the 12-18
month class, for her third major. At 15 months Lecksie was AMCA Top
20 ranked. She competed only 4 and a half months during the 2005/2006
Top 20 year and finished the Top 20 year as #20.
Lecksie has Beautiful Breed Type, Excellent Movement (Coming, Going,
and Side Gait), Thick, Course Guard Coat and a Dense Under Coat, Dark
Eyes & Pigment, Scissors Bite, Proportionate In All Aspects, and a Personality
To Die For! She is not just another pretty face. Lecksie is an honest
working girl. She is training in harness for sledding, and loves to
hike, bike, pull, and run with our mals and ATV.
Lecksie gets along
great with all of our dogs, including running and playing with all of
our malamutes. In the house Lecksie is a wonderful pet. Who could ask
for more? And if all of that isn't enough, Lecksie is proven
brood bitch and also a champion
producing dam from our Carry x Lecksie litter. She has produced
three
litters for a total of 14 puppies. Three of those puppies are
currently or have been exhibited in AKC Conformation.
